Morlai Kargbo, FCCA

Managing Director and CEO

Morlai Kargbo is the founder and Managing Director of Moracle Limited, a chartered certified accountancy and audit firm established in 2008. As a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and Registered Auditor, Morlai brings extensive expertise in serving both corporate and charitable sectors across the UK and internationally.

Expertise & Specialisation
Morlai specialises in the private and not-for-profit sectors, working with charities, churches, Community Interest Companies (CICs), and other charitable organisations. His services include statutory and internal audit, accountancy, business consultancy, and advisory on financial systems, processes, and controls. He provides expert guidance on SORP implementation, best practice development, and governance matters, ensuring board members are fully briefed on their roles and responsibilities through bespoke training programmes.

Recognition & Impact
In 2019, Morlai received the prestigious ACCA UK Outstanding Contribution Award in recognition of his exceptional work within his local community and dedication to the profession. As former Chair of the ACCA North London Network, he has been instrumental in developing professional programmes and mentoring the next generation of accountants.

Foundation Work
Morlai is co-founder and Chair of Moracle Foundation, which has supported over 70 young people from disadvantaged backgrounds through accountancy training and career development. He also co-founded Africa Transformation Centres Foundation (ATCF), which delivers transformative mindset training programmes for 18-25 year-olds across Africa, empowering young entrepreneurs to overcome barriers and achieve their potential.

As an ACCA Practical Experience Supervisor and sought-after speaker, Morlai regularly presents at universities and professional conferences on charity accounting, governance, and the importance of mindset in professional success.

Miriam Obo-Anderson, FCCA

CEO, Moracle Africa| Virtual CFO | Digital Transformation Advocate.

A fellow member of ACCA, and seasoned finance professional with nearly two decades of experience across Ghana and the United Kingdom. I am champion of digital transformation in finance, currently a consultant with Moracle UK, providing Independent Examination and audit support to charities and non-charitable organizations.

Miriam and Morlai co-founded Moracle in Africa in Ghana delivering virtual CFO services supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, startups, and NGOs using smart, tech-driven accounting solutions and online banking.

This service is digital, online, and paperless.

I have demonstrated consistent success in establishing, restructuring, and strengthening finance functions, ensuring that businesses operate with transparency, accountability, and strategic control. 

As member of Women in Digital business WIDB a group of women entrepreneurs, I provide training on how to use digital tools for book keeping and management information systems.

I am currently enrolled in the No Code AI Machine Learning NCAIML, Programme by MIT professional education a no-code data science programme designed to equip professionals with the skills to apply AI and Machine Learning in developing innovative business solutions.

Setareh Shirazi-Zand

Business Development Manager

Setareh Shirazi-Zand plays a key role in driving Moracle Limited’s growth and strengthening its relationships across the accounting and charity sectors. As Business Development Manager, she leads the firm’s strategic outreach, partnerships, and client engagement activities—ensuring organisations understand how Moracle’s expertise can support their financial governance, compliance, and long-term sustainability.
With a strong commitment to service, Setareh focuses on connecting clients with the right solutions across the Moracle Accountancy Formula, from management information systems to statutory reporting. She works closely with internal teams to align Moracle’s services with the evolving needs of charities, SMEs, and mission-driven organisations, helping them gain clarity, confidence, and control over their finances.
Known for her professionalism, reliability, and people-centred approach, Setareh is passionate about creating meaningful collaborations that drive impact. She is also deeply involved in strengthening Moracle’s brand presence, leading initiatives that highlight the firm’s values, thought leadership, and commitment to empowering clients through accurate, timely, and value-adding financial support.

Sepide Zand

Head of operations at Moracle Foundation

Sepide holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Iran and began her journey at Moracle Foundation as an intern. Today, she proudly serves as the Head of Operations and Administration. Her background in administration, coordination, personal assistance, and graphic design has equipped her with the skills to manage and streamline operations efficiently. Moracle’s mission to support young, disadvantaged individuals has become her own passion.Sepide is committed to helping students and aspiring professionals thrive in finance and accounting, and feels honored to be part of a team making a meaningful impact.
